This Agreement contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to you becoming an affiliate in Outdoorsy’s Affiliate Program. The purpose of this Agreement is to structure the terms of the customer referral flow between your web site and the Outdoorsy website and/or APIs. Please note that throughout this Agreement, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Outdoorsy, and "you," "your," and "yours" refer to the affiliate. In accepting the Affiliate Terms and Conditions, you are also hereby accepting Outdoorsy’s standard Terms and Conditions.
2.1. To begin the enrollment process, you must complete and submit the online application via the Outdoorsy Affiliate Program page. Outdoorsy reserves the right to reject or cancel pending applications, or terminate existing partnerships at any time if we determine your site:
2.1.1. Promotes or houses illicit content (such as sexual, violent, discriminatory, and illegal content)
2.1.2. Incorporates any materials which infringe or assist others to infringe on any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights or to violate the law
2.1.3. Includes "Outdoorsy" or variations or misspellings thereof in its domain name or any other unapproved marketing assets
2.1.4. Is otherwise in any way unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable to us in our sole discretion.
2.1.5. Contains software downloads that potentially enable diversions of commission from other affiliates in our program.
2.1.6 You may not create or design a site that in any way implies or explicitly misleads customers to believe you are Outdoorsy or any other affiliated business.
2.2 In order to accurately track referral impressions, clicks, conversions, and other key metrics associated with your referral campaigns, it is the affiliate’s sole responsibility to correctly implement tracking code for each banner, text link, general affiliate link, or any other referral collateral. Outdoorsy is not liable for any commissions a partner may not receive as a result of improperly implemented tracking links.
2.3 Outdoorsy reserves the right, at any time, to review the placement of your referral links and require that you make the necessary changes to remain compliant with the guidelines provided to you.
2.4 It is the sole responsibility of the affiliate to follow all applicable IP laws that pertain to your site. Outdoorsy is not responsible should you use another party’s copyrighted material or other IP in violation of the law or any third party rights.
3.1 Outdoorsy reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and your participation in the Outdoorsy Affiliate Program immediately and without notice to you should you commit fraud in your use of the Outdoorsy Affiliate Program or should you abuse it in any way. If such fraud or abuse is detected, Outdoorsy shall not be liable to you for any commissions for fraudulent sales.
3.2 This Agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your Affiliate application, and will continue unless terminated hereunder.
Either you or we may end this Agreement AT ANY TIME, with or without cause and without notification, except in cases in which a superseding document outlines a different process. In addition, this Agreement will terminate immediately upon any breach of this Agreement by you.
We may modify any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. In such event, you will be notified. Modifications may include, but are not limited to, changes in the payment procedures and Outdoorsy's Affiliate Program rules.
Commissionable actions on Outdoorsy referrals are as follows:
For rental referrals, the affiliate will receive a commission when the referred renter’s first booking is confirmed
For RV Owner referrals, the affiliate will receive a commission when the owner successfully completes the listing process for their vehicle on Outdoorsy
30 day attribution cookie unless otherwise specified
Automated payments via 3rd party affiliate networks (i.e. AvantLink, CJ, HasOffers) will be made to affiliates once they reach a minimum balance of $100. To receive said automated payments, you must agree to the payment terms and conditions of the affiliate network from which the payments will be made. In instances of manual payment, payment processing can take 45 days from the request date.
7.1. Certain forms of affiliate advertising are prohibited by Outdoorsy. Said advertising methods include:
7.1.1 Spam in any shape or form
7.1.2 Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE)
7.1.3 Bidding of Outdoorsy-branded terms on any SEM platform. The term “Outdoorsy” must be negative matched at the campaign level for said platforms
7.1.4 Driving traffic via unsolicited browser popups, new windows, toolbars, browser applications and/or extensions
