We set a new record at the Fort Collins meetup for the longest road trip taken to meet us: 3 hours. Owner Karen headed down from Montana to spend the afternoon and share her years of RVing experience. In the midst of the bustling streets of Fort Collins, we set up camp at the gorgeous Lakeside KOA (complete with hot tubs!).
Want to know how to set up a successful business? Our Northern Colorado owners know how to register an LLC and run an efficient business utilizing their rigs and expansive knowledge of the Outdoorsy dashboard. Marketing and RV pros are running effective Facebook advertising and opting for winter consignments by partnering with other Outdoorsy owners in states with an evergreen rental season.
The biggest piece of product feedback we took away is owners want more involvement from Outdoorsy around organization and resources to support consignment to keep their rigs generating revenue all year.
Favorite quote from the evening: “I’m so glad I came—these cookies are incredible!” Shout out to Little Bird Bakeshop!
If you snapped any pics, make sure to share them using the hashtags #OutdoorsyMeetups #NeverIdle — we’d love to see them.
Want to attend an Outdoorsy Meetup? We’re taking a year long road trip throughout the U.S. to meet as many of you as we can—we’ll bring the pizza and beers. Keep your eyes on your email and—if you haven’t already—join our Outdoorsy RV Owner Community to stay posted on new meetup location announcements.
What exactly are Outdoorsy Meetups? One entrepreneurial-fueled evening with the Outdoorsy owner community. Network with like minded RV owners, chat about best practices in the RV rental business, learn tips from the pros, and connect with Team Outdoorsy.
We can’t wait to see you at one of our future meetups!
