When Dave and Tracy Sekhon saw a need, they made it their mission to fill it. “We saw a need for more luxurious rental Class C’s,” Tracy tells us. “We bought our class C specifically to create our rental business.”
This might seem risky to some, but the Sekhons knew what they were doing. The couple just got started and they’re already on a roll. “It took two days for renters to begin booking our RVs, and we’ve made $4,800 in approximately 32 hours of work time through Outdoorsy,” says Tracy.
The couple has worked hard and definitely deserves every bit of success they see. That said, they have been happy to have Outdoorsy by their side. “We suggest not attempting to run your rental business alone. The service, community, and marketing that a platform like Outdoorsy can provide are all priceless while getting started.”

Yes, Outdoorsy has been helpful, but it’s also important that you’re passionate about your work. Tracy and Dave sure seem to be. “We love that we can share the ability to make memories in our RVs,” Tracy shares. “We understand the value of family time away from the hustle and bustle of the world…especially now, during these trying times. We customize the experience for the renters, and have so far wowed kiddos with their favorite things that await them in the RV.”
Tracy recalls a few of her favorite renters: “We had a family of four (and their dog) take one of our RVs to New Mexico, Colorado, and northern Arizona,” she says. “They saw the sites of each locale and experienced many new adventures, including the Four Corners. Another family traveled to Oregon to visit their 90-year-old grandfather. And as we speak, a family has an RV on a trip to Penn State University, where they’re delivering their daughter to attend college, and the family is traveling together on this one last trip to do so!”
Clearly, the Sekhons are doing a fantastic job helping others make wonderful memories while also growing their own rental business. We foresee great things in their future, for sure!
