1. Kayaks & stand-up paddle boards
As temperatures begin to heat up, people will look to get back out on the water. Including things like stand-up paddleboards makes it easy for your renters to do so. With these included as an amenity, renters won’t have to worry about buying or renting their own equipment.
You can make the amenity even more enticing by recommending some popular spots to take the kayak or SUP out to in the surrounding area. If you have a smaller rig, don’t forget there are great inflatable options for both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Many of these inflatables have paddles that break down into two pieces as well.
2. Hammocks
Nothing says relaxation like a hammock. Hammocks will appeal to those who are seeking to get away and just relax. At the same time, those who are looking for more rigorous adventure will need a place to wind down after the day’s adventure. You may want to consider if you’d like to have multiple single hammocks in your listing or one or two double hammocks. You can always start out with one single, too.
Don’t forget that hammocks often don’t come with tree straps. If you’re including a hammock in your listing, be sure to also include the necessary straps for your renter to be able to hang the hammock and use it.
3. Mountain bikes
Many state parks and campgrounds have great mountain bike trails that will be back in full swing come spring. The mountain bike enthusiasts will surely have their own specialized gear, but entry-level mountain bikes are a great amenity to include for the casual camper. Your renters may just want a fun way to get around the campground or state park. They could also be looking to casually explore some of the nearby trails. If your RV is great for couples, consider his and her’s bikes. If it’s a family-friendly RV, you may wish to consider some kids’ bikes.
4. Grill
When the weather is nice it can be more enjoyable to cook outside the RV rather than inside. Give your renters the option by including a grill as a spring amenity on your listing. You can include a gas, wood, charcoal, or electric grill, but factor in your location and where renters will likely take your RV to decide what would be most appropriate.
Renters could easily forget to bring along propane or charcoal, so be sure to consider including whatever they may need as an amenity or an additional package they can opt for. If you do make a grill package, you can include grilling utensils, propane, skewers, a tablecloth, and outdoor-friendly plates and flatware.

5. Lawn games
Renters looking for some outdoor fun will enjoy having lawn games as an amenity. You may want to consider cornhole or ladder ball. If storage space is a concern, there are some compact options available that fold down to a small size. Jenga and bocce ball are two other fun ideas that will have renters counting down the minutes until they can have some fun beneath blue skies. Lawn games are an attractive, low-cost amenity.
