We offer Toyota Tacoma and Jeep Gladiator Overland rentals with a Roof Top Tent! This is a fun way to avoid the crowds, connect with nature and have an experience like no other on the island of Maui. Our camper trucks come fully equipped with the following items: clean linens, pillows, lanterns, beach towels, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, camping chairs, Coleman propane stove with propane, camping cookware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, mess kit with cups, plates, forks, spoons, and knives, a small camp table and water container!

The truck was in perfect condition and was stocked with way more than we anticipated! We were also shocked at how easy the tent on the truck was to set up and breakdown, only took about 10 minutes. Frank offering to pick us up & drop us off at the airport was a lifesaver. Will definitely rent again from Frank & Kristen when we return to Maui!

Frank & Kristen were so friendly and accommodating during our trip! The truck and camping supplies provided were more than adequate for our 4 nights of traveling and camping along the Maui coastline. Would definitely recommend to other travelers hoping to see everything the island has to offer!

Frank and Kristen were SO nice and helpful. They showed us how everything worked, gave us thorough recommendations, helped us reserve campsites, and Frank went out of his way to help when we got stuck in the sand (lesson learned: don’t arrive at a beach camping spot at night!!!). The truck drives well and is stocked with everything you could ever need!

What a fantastic experience! and the rig made it that much better.
A great adventure experience, with all the comforts one could want!
In addition to a fantastic camping experience, the owners; Frank and Kristen, were extremely helpful and had a long list of must see, eat and do spots.
10/10 - would do this again!

We drove around Maui for 4 days and it was fantastic!
One the one hand because of the beauty of this island and on the other because of the Truck.
You’re able to stay wherever you like and it doesn’t matter what kind of weather it is.
Kristen & Frank put everything useful in this Camper (and really everything!!).
It is clean and everything works as it should.
The car by it self makes so much fun to drive and you’re able to pass every kind of round.
Kristen & Frank show perfectly how to use all this equipment and really seem to be camping lovers by them self.
We loved it and would recommend absolutely!!!

Kristens setup was perfect for Maui. It has everything you can possibly need, came with recommendations for camping- which was neat because we were unfamiliar with Maui. Given the prices on the island, we really enjoyed this option as all the amenities provided were perfect for cooking, sleeping and adventuring around.

We highly recommend the Tacoma with pop-up tent. Kristen and Frank are easy to communicate with and genuinely cared about our experience. They supplied us with all of the camping gear we needed for 5 days of camping and snorkeling around the island. The truck was clean when we received it and ran great the entire time. We had a fews days of rain but stayed comfortable and dry in the tent. The rig got several compliments from locals along the way. It is well worth seeing the island this way.

Crazy awesome experience. The guide Kristen and Frank provide was more than enough to fill every minute of everyday of this trip. The Tacoma was amazing handling the road to Hana, and camping out of the tent was superb! The shower hose came in handy, and everything provide came into use at some point. Highly recommend any going with Kristen and Frank, because they are friendly and come best equipped for a Maui adventure. 10/10 recommend to a friend!

You will be glad you rented this rig from Kristen and Frank! Do it now! The vehicle and gear are solid and well maintained, and you will have all the gear you need and more. They are campers themselves and it clearly shows in the thoughtfulness with which they've outfitted the rig. Communication with Kristen and Frank was clear and easy, and they were extremely helpful and flexible, even with our non-camping related requests--they certainly went above and beyond what we expected (thank you!). All in all, the three nights/four days we had exploring the North Shore, Upcountry, and East Maui were some of the most memorable of our 10-day Hawaiian honeymoon. Highly recommended!

This camper truck is exactly what we had expect and more. You will be more than happy with this rental as it has everything needed and more! Frank and Kristen were also very helpful from start to finish! I highly recommend this for your next Maui vacation!

OMG I cannot say enough about Kuleana Campers (Kristen and Frank) and their truck + the experience. First off the set up comes with EVERYTHING you need to have a bomber camping trip - i'm talking stove, fuel, bug spray, sun screen, pots/pans, etc. - even hot sauce!!! These guys are clearly campers and know how to set up a good camping trip. Further we used the truck for 8 days and had one night of really high winds and one night of serious rain - not wet at all - the tent is really good and the sheets/blankets were super clean. The truck is a true off-road vehicle and can handle anything Maui can through at it - overall super experience, nice people, organized - definitely recommend to anyone who wants to see the real Hawaii and camp.

We couldn't have been happier with our experience! It was incredibly easy to communicate with Kristen and Frank prior to and upon arrival on the island, and they were very responsive and flexible. The truck and the tent were both great and allowed us the opportunity to see so much of Maui, from Hana to Haleakala to Olowalu. The truck was so well stocked that we only needed to buy food for the cooler and everything else was supplied. It made it so easy to do everything we planned and more! The toughest part is that the truck and tent are so awesome that everyone, everywhere wanted to talk to us about it. Of course, it was a great opportunity to meet locals who could give recommendations about the areas we were visiting. I've already recommended Kristen and Frank to friends planning to visit.
