1 Star since all of the issues the previous review were still there. We were rented a trailer without a working toilet. We were instructed to move a broken price of sharp plastic to move the toilet flap. This is something my wife and kids were unable to do safely. Again linens were only provided for one of the many beds in the trailer. The batteries in the trailer died every night despite every effort to not draw power. This lead to us having to run the generator early in the morning, disrupting the quiet campground, in order to use the water pump and lights. The faucet in the bathroom did not work. The owner walked me through steps to fix it but it did not resolve the issue. I did not want to waste my vacation time fixing someone else's trailer when it should have been set up and checked when dropped off.

I did not have a great experience renting John’s camper. We had John deliver the RV into a national park for us instead of picking the unit up. He was an hour late to the agreed upon meeting time. With no cell service I had to leave the park to try to contact him, when I returned to the site John had set the RV up and left. I left my mother at the site in case he showed up while I was gone so she was to get the keys and some information about the RV. When I returned I found the RV extremely unlevel, when I asked John to return to level it, because he had left no tools for us to do so ourselves, he told he could not make the drive again and was sorry I felt the RV was uncomfortable. I ended up getting a tent and sleeping outside because the RV was o uncomfortable to sleep in. John also did not have additional linens for the other beds, pillows, or towels. For 6 guest we had 3 pillows. I had to make the hour drive to town to buy additional pillows. The master bedroom was the only room that had linens, but all pillows and mattress were wrapped in plastic making the bed crinkle in the night with any movement. John’s profile also says he will leave camping chairs, he did not leave camping chairs, he left metal chairs, there were no board games. The pots and pans left were of poor quality, trying to make eggs for breakfast was impossible. The toilet is also supposed to have a piece of plastic that closes, this was broken and because of such we had to keep the toilet lid down at all times. All in all I gave the review 2 stars only because the camper is nice, and could have been a good experience if linens and pillows were available, and if the RV had been properly leveled.

John’s RV was super clean, and nice & roomy - perfect for our family of four. Communication was easy and the RV was already set up for us upon arrival to the campground!

Can’t say enough nice things about John and his family would definitely rent from them in the future for our next family outing!
