Über Lance and Tim Matheson

Welcome to The Nomad Experience! We're Utah's newest RV Rental, and we're thrilled to share our trailer with fellow travels/campers/glampers/and the like! Our trailer is located in American Fork, UT, less than 5 miles from I15 for quick and easy access to anywhere in the state. Currently, our fleet includes (1) 21' Travel Trailer with loads of modern amenities (including solar panels and 47-gallon water tank for a True Nomad Experience. As pet parent's ourselves, our trailer is pet friendly (and we love when renters share stories/photos of their furry family members)! We had a fantastic trip to little Sahara Dunes. Everything worked as it was supposed to, the camper was fully stocked with the necessities, the air-conditioning was great. If you bring your own generator, a 3500 watt is too small- so either get a bigger one or rent the generator from the host if you're dry camping. We put a mesh bed rail on the queen to contain our 10 month old and that worked great. The TV was great too, we brought our switch and played games on it cause there is an HDMI port. The communication was great and pickup and drop off were very flexible. We are renting this camper again. We got some cute pics of their mascot stuffed animal dog (I think his name is Max) on a dirt bike, so check that out.

We took the Nomad to Bluff Utah for the 2023 Solar eclipse and couldn't be more pleased. Lance and Tim were accommodating on pick up and drop off times and we're clear and friendly on the details. The trailer was perfect for our fun-family-four-pack and having Nomad Max along for the ride was a treat. Thank you, Lance and Tim (and Nomad Max), for helping us make great lifetime memories!

The RV is adorable and comfortable. Well stocked and maintained. Easy to tow. Our hosts were delightful with exceptional customer service and communication. Couldn't be happier with our experience. The drop off and pick up experience was particularly useful and helpful. Thank you!!!

Tim and Lance were great to work with! They were very professional and thorough explaining how things in the camper worked. The camper was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. They were quick to answer my emails with questions I had. They will be at the top of my list to rent from next time I need a camper!!

The RV was the most comfortable thing we have ever experienced while being outdoors. It was clean and comfortable, and the owners, Lance and Tim, were so nice and clear with their instructions. I would definitely recommend The Nomad for anyone who’s looking to rent an RV.

Great hosts and trailer. Very responsive and accommodating hosts, they worked with me every step of the way. Very thorough check out and check in left me with no question unanswered. The trailer is clean and comfortable with everything I needed included. Will rent again next time I need a trailer.
