Roadtrek SS Ideal on Mercedes Sprinter chassis with diesel engine. Suitable for 2 persons, has rear slide to give full 22 foot length when parked for camping. Overall length is 19 feet for driving which makes for easier parking at shopping malls. Has air conditioning and enclosed toilet with shower. (Shower is not in middle of unit like some Roadtrek floor plans!) 2 burner propane gas range top and gas water heater, large fridge and freezer section, combination microwave toasting oven. has counter top with sink, fresh water tank, grey and black water holding tanks. Emptying holding tanks is easy with the macerator pump out system. (no gravity drain lines to connect.) Driver's and passenger seats are captain seats and rotatable so can face towards rear when parked. A table with post type leg can be used forward or in rear when slide is out. Has driver's and passenger doors with sliding door on passenger side. Electrical connection with 30A/15 A adaptor. Has built-in 115V propane gas fired electrical generator.
From October to April, the unit may be winterized due to freezing temperatures. This means that there will be no running water in the unit and no flushing toilet or shower. To off set this I provide a porta potty that does flush and a container of drinking (tap) water of about 2 gallons.
Was ist inbegriffenCutlery, cooking utensils, cooking pots, fry pan (suitable for camp fire), kettle, electric coffee maker, 2 camp chairs, small folding table and bedding (2 sets of sheets, 4 pillows and cases and quilt or comforter, whatever you wish to call it).EmpfehlungenExplore the Canadian Rockies: Banff, Lake Louise Columbia Icefields.
To the east are the badlands around Drumheller: Royal Tyrrell Museum, hoodoo rock formations, and a swinging pedestrian suspension bridge and an abandoned coal mine.
There's also Dinosaur Provincial Park.

We (my boyfriend and I) had a great trip with this RV. Coming from Europe (and being used to compact cars), we wanted to drive a compact RV while still having enough space to live comfortably from the RV for two weeks. This RV was exactly that! The back extends to provide more room inside, while still being compact when you're on the road. Dry camping (without hookup to water and electricity) is possible for 1 or 2 nights maximum, after which the fresh water tank will likely be depleted. Also, the heater makes quite some noise, so if you're camping during cold months, you will hear it switch on in the night sometimes. The RV drives smoothly. Christopher is a great guy who takes the time to explain everything to you, is kind and communicates easily.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can be fairly flexible with pick up and drop off times and places. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. Limitation is whether or not the unit is rented the next day (turnaround time). Pick up and drop off at the airport or hotel close by can usually be managed for a fee. Care of an extra bag can also be included.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Recommend only using camp sites with electrical hook ups. the unit usually carries enough water for two people and refilling upon leaving a camp site will ensure adequate water. The sewer is a macerator pump out system, so there is really nothing to be gained by paying the extra for sewer conn. Most renters have reported that the shower facilities at the larger campgrounds provided more space than inside the motorhome. Try to limit baggage as storage space is limited. Owner may store excess bags

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Sewer and water hook ups generally not recommended. Sewer is a pump out system so little to be gained. Better just using the dump station upon exiting the campground. The fresh water tank is large enough to provide for the amp stay usually. Recommend connecting the electric as soon as the unit is parked at the camp site. This ensures that the auxiliary batteries stay charged and that there is no reason to operate the generator.

Q.What is procedure for set up at a campsite?
A.
Park unit on the most level piece of ground (there are no levelling jacks), plug into electrical outlet, turn on propane gas (LPG), Turn on water pump, turn on water heater, open rear doors and extend slide and then secure the rear doors per instruction, set up the living area or the bed according to preference. Check fridge is operating on 'AC' if unit is plugged in. Enjoy!
