EmpfehlungenWhen planning your popup camping trip, there are a few important things to consider, including what to bring along and some recommended places to visit.Prior to renting the camper, please allocate an hour of your time for me to provide you with a comprehensive orientation on operating the camper, conducting a walkaround damage assessment during pickup and return, as well as completing any necessary documentation. While our camper is pet-friendly, it's worth noting that the leather interior may be susceptible to tearing from your pet's nails. In the event of any damage, the repair costs will be deducted from your deposit and/or covered by insurance. Before embarking on your adventure, ensure that you have a 2-inch hitch receiver installed. Don't worry, I can supply the ball and hitch for your convenience. Additionally, you'll need a 7-pin plug to activate the blinkers and brakes on the camper, providing you with a safe and enjoyable towing experience. For added convenience, I offer a fee-based service where I can transport the camper to your desired location, as per the Outdoorsy pricing policy. I'll even set up the camper for you and handle the return process, within a 50-mile radius of Columbus. I can take this to Alumn Creek Campground, Hocking Hills, and other campsites near Columbus. I will even open it up and set up everything for you. The only thing you need to do is show up and enjoy. To make your camping experience more enjoyable, here are some items you should consider bringing:A sufficiently large cooler stocked with ice. This is a must.
Bed sheets, pillows, and/or sleeping bags for a comfortable rest.
A well-stocked first aid kit for any unforeseen situations.
Extra camp chairs for lounging and relaxation.
Flashlights to illuminate your surroundings during the night.
Firewood to create a cozy campfire atmosphere.
Lots of Snacks. My family enjoyed Smoores on the campsite.
In addition to the hands-on demonstration I'll provide, I recommend watching instructional videos on setting up the popup camper for further understanding and preparation. Rest assured, I'll be there to guide you through the process as well.By considering these suggestions and making adequate preparations, you'll be well-equipped for a memorable camping experience in Ohio.Part 1 (My brief intro of our camper)

Weitere wichtige DingeIf you're renting a pop-up camper from me through Outdoorsy, here are some important things to remember:1. Check the rental agreement: Read the rental agreement carefully to understand the terms and conditions of the rental. Make sure you understand the rental fees, payment schedule, and any additional costs such as insurance or cleaning fees.2. Familiarize yourself with the camper: Before you hit the road, take some time to familiarize yourself with the camper. Learn how to set it up and take it down, how to use the appliances, and how to operate any other features such as the awning or heating/cooling systems.3. Bring the right gear: While pop-up campers come with many amenities, you'll still need to bring some of your own gear, such as bedding, towels, and cooking utensils. Check the rental agreement or contact us to confirm what items are included and what you'll need to bring.4. Plan your route: Make sure you plan your route in advance, taking into account the size and weight of the camper. Check for any height or weight restrictions on the roads you'll be traveling on, and plan accordingly.5. Follow safety guidelines: Pop-up campers are relatively easy to tow, but you'll still need to follow safety guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe trip. Make sure the camper is properly hitched to your vehicle (2-inch receiver), and that the lights and brakes are working properly.6. Clean up after yourself: When you return the camper, make sure you leave it clean and tidy. Dispose of any trash properly, and make sure all the appliances and systems are turned off.7. Understand the insurance coverage: Outdoorsy provides insurance coverage for all rentals, but it's important to understand what is and isn't covered. The insurance covers damage to the camper and liability for injuries or damage caused to others, but there may be limitations or exclusions. Read the insurance policy carefully and contact Outdoorsy or the owner with any questions or concerns.8. Report any damages: If you notice any damages to the camper when you pick it up, make sure to report them to the owner or Outdoorsy immediately. Take photos or videos of any damages as proof, and make note of them in the rental agreement.9. Be responsible for damages: As a renter, you are responsible for any damages caused to the camper during your rental period. This includes damage caused by accidents, weather, or your own negligence. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and instructions, and take precautions to prevent damage.10. Return the camper in good condition: When you return the camper, make sure it's in good condition. This means cleaning up after yourself, making sure all the appliances and systems are turned off, and ensuring that there are no damages beyond normal wear and tear.11. Be prepared for potential charges: If there are damages to the camper beyond normal wear and tear, you may be charged for the repairs or replacement. Make sure you have enough funds to cover these potential charges, and that you understand the process for disputing any charges. You and I will complete a walk around the camper and note any pre and post inspections.Overall, it's important to be responsible and take precautions when renting a pop-up camper from Outdoorsy. By understanding the insurance coverage, reporting any damages, and returning the camper in good condition, you can help ensure a smooth and hassle-free rental experience.Lastly, renting a pop-up camper from Outdoorsy can be a great way to enjoy a camping trip without the expense and hassle of owning your own RV. Just make sure you read the rental agreement, familiarize yourself with the camper, and follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.Note: Although the camper is capable of creating hot water, I have opted to not have this feature as it is costly for maintenance.

We had a great stay in Stephen’s pop up. This was our first time renting and using a pop up and we found the entire process easy and Stephen was very helpful in teaching us all the ins and outs. The camper is in great condition and we were very comfortable during our weekend getaway. The AC keeps the unit really cold and there is ample room inside for a family. We will definitely rent from Stephen and Outdoorsy again in the future.

Great experience!
Stephen was very easy to work with and communicate with.
The sink was slow to drain and got stopped up quickly with water.
Other than that, everything was in great working order, and the ac did keep it nice and cool!

Stephen was a great host, easy to work with, and on top of all the details. He spent plenty of time to help me learn how everything worked when I picked up the camper.

Haben Sie eine Frage?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
As long as it is within 100 miles from Columbus Area, I can Drop off and pickup. $4 per mile applies with minimum of $200.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
It does accept shorepower and will power everything in the camper, including AC. It also has 2 propane tanks and can be used to heat up the camper and using propane gas burning stove. The water holds 20 gallons and the pump can run off battery, when shorepower is used, then water pump is not needed. For restrooms, you will need to go to a camping location that has a restroom.
