2021 Braxton Creek Bushwhacker Plus
We like our Bushwhacker for a lot of reasons, but first, it's 73" inside so we can both stand all the way up. The bathroom is still a little teardrop wet bath, but gets the job done. It's also a great storage space if you're using other bath facilities. It goes anywhere, you don't have to worry about site size, and it's small enough that with a little pushing and not too much grumbling, you can park it "close enough" and get it where it needs to be in most situations. It's especially a nice size because you can stop and see some sights along the way without worrying about where to park it or getting set up first, then going out on adventures. It's roomy enough inside to feel cozy, not cramped, and if you get a rain-out or just feel like taking your time in the morning, there is space to stretch, play games, or watch a movie. Our 80 pound dog has plenty of floor space for his bed, bowls, and being lazy. Was ist inbegriffenFeatures: 3-way fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, 12,000BTU furnace, 5,000BTU A/C, roof vent and fan, outside shower, Amazon Fire TV, Stereo with Bluetooth and audio inputs, Gas/Electric 6 gallon water heater.Includes an additional mattress pad, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Please plan to bring your own bedding, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. The sleeping area is 54" x 78".We also include the basics to set up - water hose, sewer hose, power cord, surge protector, wheel chocks, RV toilet paper, etc.Other items available upon request include a wireless brake control and back-up camera. If you are camping within 75 miles of Indianapolis, delivery and setup at your site MAY be available. Please contact us before renting to discuss. Please let us know if there is something specific you need and we'll try to have it for you!EmpfehlungenWe are in the process of seeing all of our Indiana State Parks and there is a lot of diversity among them! One of our first trips included the Indiana Dunes National Park, and separate State Park. Tippecanoe River is small with some nice trails. Prophetstown has a very new, very nice campground and some interesting history. Everyone loves Brown County and Turkey Run, but I think our favorite so far is Clifty Falls! The camper would make an excellent home base for the Covered Bridge Festival, the Sandhill Cranes up north, or the 500 too! Our local KOA (15 minutes from the pick-up location) is awesome!A little further out, there are a TON of National Parks, Wildlife Refuges, and unique places to visit within just six hours of Indy. We love The Smokies, Indiana Dunes, Geode State Park in Iowa (and Field of Dreams nearby), and Starved Rock in Illinois! It's also small enough you can just park it in your mom's driveway for the family reunion!Weitere wichtige DingePets are most welcome, our big dog loves to be outside and explore. If you are tailgating or staying at a festival, or even boondocking out far away from the rest of us, please be safe and try to leave it ready for the next campers to enjoy. We clean everything top to bottom for you, and you can help us out a lot when we do it for the next campers!Again, we're lifelong campers, from backpacking to almost glamping, so if you need supplies, advice, or help in the middle of the night when you forget how to turn the water heater on, just ask!

We are a married couple with 3 boys and a large goofball dog. We love the outdoors and have spent years together camping in tents, RVs, and even just under the stars. Jim has been to 40 states and takes a special interest in oddball roadside attractions. He can show you 3 different ways to make a fire to impress family and friends. Emily just wants to go on adventures away from people. If you want to go out on a bird-watching hike while listening to a true crime podcast, she'll share her playlists. Our boys like to poke fires, roast s'mores, and generally cause chaos (they refuse to avoid mud). If you find a Nerf dart, it's their fault. We can recommend hikes, notable landmarks, interpretive programs, and things to do at several of our Indiana state parks. Rent our camper and you can make some recommendations for us, too!

Jim was very easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly when we ask them. Pickup and drop off were super easy and quick. We were unable to connect with the brake assist mechanism using the phone app. One of the interior valences fell off the wall every time the trailer moved. Otherwise everything was clean, worked well, and the trailer was stocked with kitchen and other needs.

Pretty light to tow with a 3500 lb capacity suv. It has all the rv camping equipments, such as the water filter, surge protector. Also AC works perfectly.

We took this trailer out west for a couple weeks and had no issues! It drove smoothly through the desert heat and mountains and was easy to hitch and unhitch! Had everything we needed and more! Would recommend!

Haben Sie eine Frage?Get answers directly from the host
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We're both working parents, so we get it. We'll accommodate as much as we can, just communicate.
Q.What ball do I need?
A.
2". Besides that, the hitch height is 22 3/4". You should measure the distance from the ground to the top of the inside of your receiver. Whatever the difference is, that is the size of the drop (or rise) for the bar. We have one suited for our vehicle, and will let you use it if it fits, but we won't let you leave with the camper at the wrong height for towing. Contact us if you're unsure at all, we'll help!
Q.Explain the power situation...
A.
Like just about any camper, the Bushwhacker needs to be plugged in to 30 amp shore power, or a generator, in an ideal situation. You can plug it in with an adapter to get it ready at the house using a regular outlet, and if you're careful, you can run most of the appliances on a regular house outlet.
The battery will run lights and water pump, and can run the fridge, but not for long. Killing the battery will shorten it's life, make your weekend more difficult, and probably get you a fine.
